About Us

Our Past

Methodist circuit riders Jesse Richardson and his son John, along with their families, established a preaching point in the 1820s in the Nacoochee Valley which came to be known as White Church and later as Nacoochee Methodist Church. For almost 200 years, the people of Nacoochee have been on mission in this community and around the world.

Our Present

As we look toward a future in a new sanctuary, the family of Nacoochee Methodist worships at 9am and at 11am in the Fellowship Hall. We would love to wrap you in arms that embody the love of Christ Jesus and welcome you to worship with either group. At 10am we offer Sunday School for all age groups!

Our Future

As we go forward, our goal is to always minister with our purpose in the forefront: To know Christ and make Him known to all. Our desire is to always to show the love of the Lord to one another, to our guests, to those around us in this community, and to people around the world who need a Savior.
