Very soon ...
We are praying that the Lord will continue to open doors to the building of a new worship space for His people of Nacoochee Methodist Church and for those in our community and world for whom He has prepared it. We are excited to see how the Lord writes the story of this new chapter in the life of this historic, yet forward-looking body. As this project moves forward, this page will continue to be edited with new information, so come back often and get caught up!
The Hope is Becoming Reality!
The current sanctuary, which was built during World War II, will be carefully removed from the site, but the back part of the structure that was added some thirty years later will remain, and it also will gradually get a bit of a facelift. Actually, if you visit on a Sunday or during the week, you'll notice some signs that the updates have taken place already!

Notice that the yellow area of the plan is closest to the highway side of the property. The Meeting Room at the top will be made up of an area of the current sanctuary that is now the choir loft. A covered walkway will connect the two structures there and on the left or north side will be a ramp and stairs that will connect to the current breezeway that connects the education building to the rest of the campus.

Are we ready to begin?
Almost! Once our White County government approves our requested variances (please keep these public servants in your prayers), and the members of Nacoochee officially approve the current plan later in the month, then the work that has taken place unnoticed by those outside the church family will begin to be VERY visible by those who drive by. We covet your prayers that all that surrounds this project will be done in the Lord's power and for His glory alone!
