Very soon ...
We are delighted that the Lord continues to open doors to the building of a new worship space for His people of Nacoochee Methodist Church and for those in our community and world for whom He has prepared it. We are excited to see how the Lord writes the story of this new chapter in the life of this historic, yet forward-looking body. As this project moves forward, this page will continue to be edited with new information, so come back often and get caught up!

The Hope is Becoming Reality!
The current sanctuary, which was built during World War II, is in process of being emptied of its contents. Items that are not saved for the future sanctuary will be carefully removed, but the back part of the structure that was added some thirty years later will remain, and it also will gradually get a bit of a facelift. Actually, if you visit on a Sunday or during the week, you'll notice some signs that some of the updates have taken place already!

Notice that the yellow area of the plan is closest to the highway side of the property. The Meeting Room at the top will be made up of an area of the current sanctuary that is now the choir loft. A covered walkway will connect the two structures there and on the left or north side will be a ramp and stairs that will connect to the current breezeway that connects the education building to the rest of the campus.

Are we ready to begin?
Almost! Our White County government has approved our requested variances, and the members of Nacoochee officially approved the current plan on November 23, 2025. Soon the work that has taken place unnoticed by those outside the church family will begin to be VERY visible by those who drive by. We covet your prayers that all that surrounds this project will be done in the Lord's power and for His glory alone!
